So, you think you're and advanced user, do you? Before attempting ANYTHING on this page, especially if it's the first time you've done it, ask James or George for help. If you have never successfully changed the pinhole or beam alignment, STOP RIGHT HERE and seek assistance from James or George.

Advanced Users: Changing the Pinhole

Ok, you want to change the pinhole. Are you sure?  The 30 micron one gives very clean spots at the cost of some intensity or whatever the proper term is.  But after you do it you're going to wonder if you really should have done that.  If you do change it you are most likely going to have to align the beam (see following section).
