Research
My personal research interest is to study the mechanism of Hsp90 and its newly-identified client protein Tsc1, in the regulation of Alzheimer diseases. In order to reach that goal, the atomic level high-res structures of Tsc1 and Tsc1 with Hsp90 and its homologs will help us to elucidate the mechanism on how they coordinate with each other in the ATP cycle. Together with tau protein, the atomic resolution structures will help us know more on the role of Hsp90 in this neurodegenerative disease.
