Lab manager:

Primary lab goal, keep the lab running smoothly to ensure a higher level of science.

Research:

Along with lab management duties, I’m also attempting to express and purify many of the centrosomal dgrips proteins with the long-term goal of better understanding the structure and interactions of the g-Turc complex, microtubule nucleation, and the centrosome as a whole.

Prior to entering the Agard lab, I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Biology and returned home to San Francisco (yes there are still native San Franciscans around), where I worked in the industry for 6+ yrs at Exelixis in SSF on the fly team in the Drug Discovery Dept and at Nektar (formerly Inhale Therapeutic) in San Carlos in the Powder Processing Development group.

Besides enjoying a good glass of bubbly & moving minute amounts of liquid from one eppendorf tube to another, I also enjoy the outdoors. Big fan of snowboarding, wake boarding, and anything involved in most outdoor activities.
